Join us, this summer holiday, as we go on a wild adventure to discover, explore and enjoy the natural history of Seaton through stories, craft making, free play, field studies, nature walks and more.
In case of wet weather we will have craft activities instead.

Wednesday 26th July – Fossils & Geology in our garden area.
Learn about the geology of our local coast and how fossils are formed then become a palaeontologist and find our hidden fossils in the garden. Piece together the mystery creature before making your very own fossil to take home.
Wednesday 2nd August – Minibeasts in our garden and wildlife area
Learn about the creatures that lurk in our garden. Which one drinks with its bottom? Which one can drop a leg to avoid preying birds? Find out the gruesome truth about some of our best known minibeasts.
Wednesday 9th August – Wild walk.
Join us as we explore the local coast and seashore looking at geology, creating beach art and poetry.
Wednesday 16th August – Wild walk
Join us as we survey the garden focussing on butterflies and make some great butterfly art.
Wednesday 23rd August – Volcanoes and rocks
Learn about the geology of the area – create your own metamorphic, sedimentary and igneous rocks from chocolate and understand the science of volcanoes. We may have a few explosions!
