Salary: £14,600 – £16,000 plus 3% pension contribution

Seaton Jurassic, the new flagship visitor centre on the beautiful Jurassic Coast aims to engage over 50,000 people per year with the natural environment via the story of life.
You look forward to taking ownership for a wide range of activities, including operating innovative building management systems, grounds maintenance and opening/closing of the building at set times each week. Reporting directly to the Centre Manager, you are able to work independently and ensure the centre meets all health and safety requirements.
You enjoy working in a customer service environment and regular contact with a wide variety of audiences, including suppliers and contract cleaners. You have the skills and experience to manage yourself as well as supporting your colleagues around you.
You have a can-do attitude and share the values of Devon Wildlife Trust and have experienced in a similar role.
Seaton Jurassic is a new-to-open visitor centre on the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. The Centre is operating by Devon Wildlife Services, a trading subsidiary of the wildlife charity, Devon Wildlife Trust.
The centre is being built by East Devon District Council (EDDC) as part of a regeneration project for the coastal town of Seaton, set in the stunning natural environment of East Devon.
The project is chiefly supported by EDDC, Devon County Council, Seaton Town Council, Heritage Lottery Fund, Coastal Communities Fund, Garfield Weston Foundation and Fine Family Foundation, Blue Marine Foundation and Seaton Visitor Centre Trust.
