From the public car park which is next door to the center it is wheel chair accessible along a safe pavement right up to Seaton Jurassic entrance. The entrance and center itself, including café and the exhibition is wheelchair accessible though the floor in some places in the exhibition is a little uneven – this occurs in the time ship area where the floor emulates Victorian cobbles and in the rock pool area where the floor attempts to recreate the bottom of a rock pool floor and is therefore slightly uneven. You will exit the exhibition into the garden where there is a wooden sloping, zig-zagged walkway which leads into the garden (this slope is a little steep). The interactive garden has loose sand gravel pathways which are wide enough for a wheelchair.
The exhibition has low levels of lighting inside, and there are several loud noises from the timeship and rockpool that can be heard throughout the exhibition.
Carers benefit from free entry to the exhibition and our usual entry fees applies to the user. There is no entry fee to pay for the café which is open to everyone.
